Motorcoach/Charter Drivers

Our next driver training class starting June 23, 2008.

Our motorcoach driver training program is held in January and July, based on need. Inquires should be made in November/December for the January class and May/June for the July class. We require a good 10 year driving record, drug and alcohol free, passing our DOT physical, and have a satisfactory past employment history. No experience necessary.

 

FULL TRAINING PROVIDED FOR THOSE WITH OR WITHOUT COMMERICIAL DRIVERS LICENSE ( CDL)

WE WOULD LIKE TO MEET PEOPLE WHO ARE INTERESTED IN:

    YOU NEED TO BE ABLE TO MEET THE FOLLOWING CRITERIA:

  • 21 years of age or older
  • Have ability to work for Rohrbaugh’s immediately after training
  • Can work irregular hours including weekends and some holidays
  • Have no restrictions regarding overnight travel or 15 hour days
  • Can provide satisfactory past employment references
  • Can provide proof of good driving record
  • Enjoy being around different types of people
  • Are drug and alcohol free

    • Training Program Includes:

    Classroom: Defensive driving videos; Smith System of Commentary Driving, Federal Highway Safety Regulation; Paperwork requirements; Rohrbaugh's policies and procedures

    Obstacle Course Work: Complete several forward and backward cone patterns

    Road Skills: Driving on local, rural, highway and city roads. Will include day and night time driving, mountain driving and adverse weather condition skills
