Day 1 Our tour is hosted by Personality Tim Michaels of WHVR. We will depart early and go South and overnight two nights’ in Pigeon Forge, TN. Dinner included this evening. After dinner we will go to Country Tonite show. This show has been rated the BEST SHOW IN THE SMOKIES"! It has high energy variety, powerful gospel, great country music and terrific for everyone from 3 to 93!
Day 2 Start the day with breakfast (incl.) at hotel. Enjoy some shopping at the Incredible Christmas Place. Lunch included, after which we will depart to Dollywood’s Smoky Mountain Christmas and enjoy an incredible journey through Babes in Toyland, marvel as 21-toy soldiers march across the stage, see the new hustle and bustle of Santa’s Workshop! Step inside the giant toy store, where Santa and larger-than-life sized toys greet you. Christmas in the Smokies and other sensational stage shows set the stage with heartwarming sounds of the season, festive foods, thrilling rides and over 3 million lights complete Dollywood’s winter wonderland! We will end our day with a guided drive through the Winterfest of Lights!
Day 3 We will travel to Nashville and check in the Opryland Hotel for our 3-night stay.
"A Country Christmas" at Opryland, an annual celebration evokes warm and cherished memories as bright and festive as the rich holiday itself. Opryland Hotel comes alive with the glow of more than 2 million shimmering lights, brightly painted Nutcracker Suite toy soldiers and acres of indoor gardens decorated for the holidays. There’s also colorful cold-air balloons, accents of green garland and a 40-foot Christmas tree. Thanksgiving Brunch (incl.) at Gaylord Springs Golf Club. Enjoy your time at this beautiful hotel with so much to see and do.
This evening we will attend the Radio City Rockettes Christmas Show thrilling audiences of all ages with a dazzling musical production that includes the legendary "Parade of the Wooden Soldiers" and the "Living Nativity.
Day 4 Enjoy breakfast (on own) at hotel. Depart for guided tour of Nashville/Stars homes. Return to hotel. Visit the Treasures for the Holidays, Art, Antiques and Crafts fair and Hall of Trees (incl.). Purchase a gift for someone on your Christmas list.
Enjoy Louise Mandrell "Joy to the World" Christmas dinner/show (incl.) this evening.
Day 5 Breakfast (on own) at hotel and a free morning. Depart for our luncheon cruise and show on the General Jackson Showboat. Afterwards, we will tour the The Country Music Hall of Fame. America’s premier music museum. The new $40 million facility features three exhibit floors, four theaters, live music daily, a fully working radio station and a world class museum store. If you haven’t seen "The Hall," you haven’t seen Nashville. Free time downtown Nashville.
Dinner (on own) before attending the world-famous Grand Ole Opry show at the Ryman Auditorium where the Opry began its shows. This structure was built in 1892 and was used for religious revivals and Opry shows. Many legendary musicians have performed hereā¦see displays of memorabilia and photographs, souvenir shop with lots of great gifts for the folks back home.
Day 6 After breakfast (on own) at hotel, do any last minute things you may have missed during your stay before departing mid-morning to the Gaylord Opryland’s Ice Exhibit at the Gaslight Theatre featuring over 1.5 million pounds of ice displayed. This is so spectacular you won’t want to miss seeing it. Following lunch on your own, we will depart Nashville. Dinner included at a restaurant nearby the hotel this evening.
Day 7 Start with breakfast (incl.) at hotel before departing for home with lots of memories and their wonderful and warm southern hospitality!
